Trail Blazers Manager Has Agreed to a $150 Million Deal with…

The the year twenty-four NBA Trade Deadline ended on Thursday morning with two small transactions completed by the Portland Trail Blazers. In exchange for a highly protected second round selection, general manager Joe Cronin worked out a deal with Brad Stevens of the Boston Celtics to acquire guard Dalano Banton. Additionally, he gave G League Up Next representative and guard Ashton Hagans of Rip City the remix technique another 10-the afternoon deal.

Shaedon Sharpe will miss a significant amount of time due to abdominal surgery, but those two backcourt guys will help the Blazers cope. The Blazers’ regular roster now numbers fifteen, as a result of the trades.

As about Duop Reath, though? After being seemingly overlooked, the 27-year-old has surprised the Blazers this season. Reath was born and raised in Australia, and he has competed in lower leagues in Serbia, China, Lebanon, and Australia during the previous few years. It was a difficult process for him.

His most recent demonstration of his abilities came in early November during the Remix, when he scored an incredible 37 points on five out of six possible points. Reath replaced Robert Williams III, who suffered a season-ending knee injury, as Deandre Ayton’s primary backup. He outperformed fellow two-way player Ibou Badji and Moses Brown.

After Reath made a significant impact, the Blazers were faced with a tough decision.

Players on two-way contracts are allowed to play for their NBA team in up to 50 games. Although the Blazers still have 31 games left in the season, Reath has already played in 38 of them.

As the youthful Blazers establish themselves, I see Reath remaining with the team for the ensuing few seasons. In addition to providing mediocre defense, he is a consistent source of attack. Although Reath isn’t the most athletic player on the team, he plays to his abilities and isn’t easily overwhelmed by the situation.
