After his $400 million dollar win, Tiger Woods sent a Brutal message to Jon Rahm due to..
Although plenty of us have been on occasion ghosted, we hardly ever get together to talk about it on an ESPN show. To be fair, though, not all of us are Jon Rahm, and not all of us made the contentious decision to join LIV Golf, allegedly turning down one of the greatest performers the world has witnessed to date.
Rahm reportedly made that decision when he departed the PGA Tour in December to join LIV Golf for $450 million. Rahm attempted to text Woods to find out why he had left, but he never responded.
In response to Marty Smith of ESPN asking Rahm if he had heard back from Woods, the athlete said, “No, not really.” “Well, Tiger, I texted him and the folks that tried to get in touch with me about the signing process, and I just told him, ‘Hey, you know, this is an intimate terms issue.'”
He said that Rory McIlroy comprehended (and responded), but he did not elaborate on the details of the Woods text messages.
Both in public and privately, Ryan has supported Rahm’s choice, the spokesperson said. With the intention of ending their rivalry and moving on to play against the top golfers, McIlroy has given in more to LIV Golf since the Spaniard left.
Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap, he admitted, “I was maybe a little judgmental of the guys who went to LIV Golf at the start.” Since I now understand that not everyone is in my situation or Tiger Woods’ position, I believe it was a bit of a mistake on my behalf.
Similar to Woods, Rahm and Jay Monahan, the commissioner of the PGA Tour, are unable to communicate. Rahm remarked, “I think he’s simultaneously preoccupied to be communicating to me.” The $450 millionaire wants to compete on the PGA Tour and the LIV Golf circuits someday, but he’ll definitely need a text returning from someone (anyone!) in order to make those dreams come true.
