Tiger Woods and LIV Golf chief ‘have MISUNDERSTANDING’ over future of…

In light of the recent separation involving the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, Jon Rahm has urged the top players in golf’s professional ranks to get back together.

In December of last year, Rahm inked a contract worth an estimated £450 million to join Greg Norman and company, making him LIV’s biggest acquisition to date. But, continuing in the ways of players like Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Phil Mickelson did come at a price, as he too received a ban from the PGA particularly Championship.In an unexpected statement made in June of last year, the Tour stated that it had come to a framework arrangement with the fund administered by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) to put an end to the protracted conflict between the two competing electronic devices.

However, an agreement has not yet been finalized, thus nine months later, players continue to be prohibited to participate in both tours. Rahm, though, is expecting that a deal can be reached as quickly as possible. In advance of defending his Masters title next month, he stated, “I believe we can find a way of coexisting.”

“I’m not sure how it appears, but all I want is to watch the world’s greatest athletes go up against one another. I believe that golf has the potential to advance to new heights. Although they may not be the friendliest bunch right now, if some sort of peace is reached, I believe it will advance the game.  Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay, and other Players Directors of the former gathered on Monday in the Bahamas for peace negotiations between representatives of the PGA Tour and PIF. Tiger Woods, however, was the most well-known name on the guest list of people.
