Getting over the hump and making it back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1990s has been a goal shared by the Buffalo Bills during the past several seasons. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, the quarterback and wide receiver combination, have been among the best in the NFL. Though James Cook, Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid, Gabe Davis, Devin Singletary, and Gabe Davis are among the supporting cast members, the Bills have yet to advance to the Super Bowl with these two.

The Bills must construct a wide receiver to assist relieve Diggs of some of his workload because Gabe Davis has left for Jacksonville. Although Buffalo did bring Curtis Samuel in from Washington, it is insufficient. A sparkplug who can sign a contract is what this offense needs. Buffalo doesn’t need a remaining free agent; they need a guy in the draft.

The missing piece the Bills have been looking for is Adonai Mitchell. Mitchell completed his collegiate career at the University of Texas after a highly successful stint at the University of Georgia, where he won two national titles. He was a key player in Texas’s success in making their first-ever College Football Playoff participation.

However, what was Mitchell’s level of performance while attending college? Having 29 receptions for 426 yards and 4 touchdowns in his rookie season, he showed promise. Additionally, he gained 14.7 yards on average on each reception. He only recorded 9 receptions for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns in just 6 games during his sophomore season at Georgia due to a severe ankle sprain. But in his one and only season on the show at the University of Texas, Mitchell had an offensive explosion in his final season. Mitchell scored 11 touchdowns and 845 yards from 55 receptions in 14 games. His reception average was 15.4 yards per attempt.
