Breaking news: Before the PGA Championship, Tiger Woods rehearses at Valhalla Golf Club
Tiger Woods hasn’t been seen on a golf course since winning the Masters Tournament, but he has recently appeared on chat shows to promote his Sun Day Red golf brand.
That will alter the following week when he competes at Valhalla Golf Club in the PGA Championship. Additionally, Woods has completed some preliminary work as the main event was featured on social media on Wednesday.
Images of Woods in Valhalla were shared by the PGA Championship’s X (previously Twitter) account, although it did not say when Woods was there.
He’s been to the major venue before, having defeated Bob May in a thrilling playoff match in 2000 to win his second of four Wanamaker Trophies. In Louisville, Kentucky, he participated in the 2018 version as well, however he was not selected.
Last week, Woods agreed to accept a unique invitation to the US Open. There is just one other time since 2019 that he will play four majors in a single season if he participates in The Open Championship, when he is exempt due to his previous victory.
